Unless you are using Android 11 or higher, please note that using ADB requires a computer.

SystemUI Tuner is designed to expose hidden options in Android, but it's important to understand that different manufacturers may remove or change these options. SystemUI Tuner cannot overcome these limitations.

For more convenient copy-paste, here are some ADB commands (ADB is not root):

It seems that many manufacturers have limitations on customizing devices, to the extent that some disable the built-in Android System UI Tuner. This app aims to address that issue by providing a replacement. While it is largely a replica of Android's System UI Tuner, it includes a few additional features not found in the default solution.

With this app, you can:

• Control which icons appear in your status bar (not all toggles may work on every device).
• Customize Demo Mode.
• Control the importance level of notifications (7.0+; may not work well on Samsung devices).
• Enable hidden features of Android.
• Toggle Immersive Mode.
• Change Quick Settings options (TouchWiz 7.0 users can change the grid size).
• Customize animation speeds.
• And much more.

Most features should work on most devices, but heavily customized OEM versions of Android (such as TouchWiz/Samsung Experience/One UI, EMUI, MIUI, etc.) may have limited functionality. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about this.

This app may not function properly on all devices. For instance, it is not compatible with most versions of MIUI, and Samsung's TouchWiz (Marshmallow/6) does not work at all.

Some important notes:

• This app does not require root access, but you will need to grant some permissions using ADB. ADB is not root.
• If your device is rooted, the app will attempt to gain root access. You can deny access if you wish, but you will still need to use ADB to grant the necessary permissions.
• This app should work on any device running Android Marshmallow (6.0) or above, except for most devices running MIUI and devices on TouchWiz 6.0.
• This app is not a magic solution. SystemUI Tuner simply exposes hidden options available in Android. If an option is unavailable or doesn't work on your device, there is nothing that can be done to fix it.
• Immersive Mode can be inconsistent and may not work perfectly. Unfortunately, I cannot control how Google or your OEM may affect its functionality.
• Changes made through this app are permanent. Uninstalling SystemUI Tuner will not undo any changes made. On Android Oreo (8.0) and later, there is an option to reset most settings, but it is your responsibility to keep track of the changes you make.
